WOW! I've had a pretty active run on YouTube the past few days. It's like I've hit a creative spark over the holidays here.  I've been announcing these over Twitter for the most part, but lemme break it down for you (and catalog it for me) over here on my blog.

Wizard101 Let's Play!

I've started up a new walk through of Wizard101 with Morgrim from the Art of the Warlord. I'm playing as a Balance wizard named Tarlac and she's playing as an Ice wizard named Brecken, and together we are the champions of THE BEETLE!

HAHA! I was over on Twitter and decided to take a song request.  Gracebear19 put it out there that I should do a Beiber song since the last "big hit" was about Selena.  After all the recording was done, Uber Wife said, you know you should have at least had one part where you showed the Selena statue with the words "Y U So Mean" over it.

DANG IT!!!  If I could rewind time, I'd do that for sure.

Moo Shu Video Journal . . . Day 11

Well there it is!



It's Kyle and Amber finishing off Moo Shu last night. Now I need to go back to all these video journals I've made and come up with a cool mish mash video for them! :-) I don't know if that will work out or not. I've had to dump some video files here and there to make space for things on my crowded hard drive. There were four mish mash videos for Dragonspyre in between when these moo shu video journals began and now. haha. But, we'll see.

Amber and Kyle have really really messy quest journals that need to be cleaned up. /head nod

It's out of the Ancient Burial Grounds and into the Village of Sorrow for Amber and Kyle!

Video Journal Moo Shu . . . Day 8

It's amazing what you can push through in Wizard 101 in that hour or so before work when you cut a few corners here and there with your morning routine . . . things like, oh, don't take quite as long of a shower . . . or maybe try eating your breakfast during battle sequences instead of when you usually do . . . or how about getting your bag and work stuff ready early . . . that kind of stuff.

Well that's exactly what I did this morning, and I finished the Shirataki Temple instance with my kid's characters in and hour and 10 minutes. So I suppose it was 10 minutes off my regular routine I shaved (or didn't shave *rubs face*) there.

And now, the video journal . . .



That's one Amber Deathsong and one Kyle Skystaff dancing in the Plague Oni's room, chillin' like villians.

(By the way, has anyone noticed that the Moo Shu books aren't giving lore anymore? Maybe it's just me? If it happens again on the next book I think I'll bug report it.)

Video Journal Moo Shu . . . Day 7

Well, it's been over a month since the last video journal! That little Dragonspyre thing happened and everything got put on hold.

So Amber and Kyle finished off Kishibi Village this morning and have moved on to the Shirataki Temple. That's a great instance there that I've run a number of times now. And every single time I get jealous of Tara from West Karana because she has the lightning bat pet from wavebringer. JEALOUS!

Anyway (I digress) here's today's video journal of Amber and Kyle laying waste to Kyuto and his friend in Kishibi Village.

Video Journal Moo Shu . . . Day 6

Amber and Kyle finished creating their jade scepter and have now wrapped up the Cave of Solitude! I had to grab a video clip of the main water area in the Cave of Solitude because it is so awesome: waterfalls, water elementals, krakens, a strange calm despite the scary pathing of said water elementals and krakens, Goat monk ghosts, etc.

Video Journal Moo Shu . . . Day 5

What we have here is some video footage from Amber and Kyle's adventures in the Cave of Solitude. In particular they are working the "Hut Hut Hut" quest, where your characters check out a few huts and, of course, get ambushed in the process.



My son is loving the Hydra spell. Interesting how the spell uses the lightning buff even though the cow had been tipped.

They're almost done with the Cave of Solitude! woot!

Video Journal Moo Shu . . . Day 4.5

I managed to guide Amber and Kyle into the Crimson Fields last night, and with my help they completed the instance!



I hadn't noticed those banners before. Cool! When you click them, they slide up and announce your presence. During the stage where you fight random trash out in the open field (defeat 13 on the battlefield), a boss mob will show up if you have those banners flying. At least that appeared to be what happened. /shrug. Did everybody know that? I felt like such a noob for not noticing those before.

Looks like it's onward to the Cave of Solitude now! Go kids!

I don't have much time to blog today, but here's today's video journal from the Crimson Fields! I just love using lightning aoe's against myth-based ninja pigs.



More from Crimson Fields tomorrow I'm sure. haha. No time to complete the instance today for me at least! Maybe my kids will hit this instance tonight. /shrug

Video Journal Moo Shu . . . Day 3

Today was one of those clean up days for Amber and Kyle. I'm sure you've had them, you mostly just go to the shop and sell all the junk loot in your backpack and bank. BUT! They did get a chance to do one of my favorite quests, and here is a video clip from it.



When a cow hands you a match, take it.

Those towers stay on fire for a long time too. It's quite cool to be completing a few quests in the background while the towers stay burning.

Video Journal Moo Shu . . . Day 2

Today's video features Amber navigating through the overthrown Tatakai Outpost. This is a run that will sometimes make you grit your teeth because the mobs path a little odd here and getting caught means a 5 minute or so battle.



I don't know if you'll be able to read Amber's chatbox or not, but while I was finishing up a quest involving defeating 8 ninja pig couriers, a couple of people started having a lively conversation to the side. LOL. Here's a reprint in case it's too small to read.

I love it. I may have to start something similar here to the "overheard at PDX" blog my friend often links to.

Video Journal Moo Shu . . . Day 1

Hello Duelers,

So I have a new idea for Amber and Kyle, who are slowly working through Moo Shu at the pace of around an hour a day. I'll be recording a video clip each day of their adventures and hopefully by the end, we might have a pretty cool Moo Shu Montage.

Since my Fraps is the unregistered version, it naturally takes small 30 second clips. I'm good with that, and hopefully you'll find these 30 second clips entertaining! (Going to be fun to see them all strung together.)

Today's clip shows Kyle casting a tempest to finish off Do-Daga and his companion. Amber had (just before this clip) let loose with a centaur that got Do-Daga to the point that the wave blast from tempest would finish him off.



I hope everyone is enjoying Dragonspyre. I'm actually avoiding it at the moment. I kind of don't want to get too into it yet until it goes live. /shrug I'd rather not have the feeling of repeating content too much.
