Ding 78 . . . What's up Bone Daddy?

Lonely was not the night last night when Squire Billy decided I was worthy of his seeds of awesomeness.

Holy Grapes of Wrath and Baby Carrots, I'm now level 78! WOOT!

This was definitely on par with when Gwendolyn knighted me and passed along the Knight of the Wyrd badge.

Apparently Mr. Lincoln was not as impressed as I was. Hmmph!

I thought my level 77 journey was pretty epic actually. I gathered together all the Knights (even those who say Neee) and restored shrubbery to its proper glory all over Avalon. What? It's an incredibly fitting task for Queen Gwendolyn's Knights of the Silver Rose. Gwendolyn even put my necromancy to good use and had me construct a Bone Dragon to protect her kingdom. Good times!

I enjoyed constructing a Bone Dragon for Gwendolyn so much that I got one of my own!

Thanks Dworgyn! You're welcome Thomas Lionblood! (that's me talking to myself since, you know, my character I chose to represent at KingsIsle for Wizard101 is Dworgyn and all . . .)

Now I just need to find a way to get some amber to get my Deer Knight spell (don't laugh) and do a few level 78 hybrid combinations . . . would be cool to snag a Mist Triton or an Oblivion Chimera, right?

My duel with the Pendragon grows closer and closer, friends!

Happy dueling!

The Commercial of Awesomesauceishness

I absolutely love the feedback KingsIsle has been getting on this commercial. :) At work I was hearing that this really epic CGI commercial was being made. I kind of thought to myself, hmm, "They've done that before haven't they?" (Yes, I still sometimes refer to KingsIsle as "they" even though I'm part of the "we" now.) The Zafaria commercial had some wicked CGI stuff going on, right?

Then I saw the commercial in Fred Howard's office . . . OH MY! I could watch that 50 times and still love it each time, and I personally agree . . . I'd love it if the game actually looked like that! (I might need to upgrade my computer to run it, but dang! So worth it! LOL)

Ding 77 -- The Greater Paul!

The Led Zepplin metaphors in Avalon are hilarious. Here I am wielding the "Greater Paul" Axe that I received as a quest reward from Page Jimmy.

It's so cool that there's no doubt it's an ice weapon! ;)

Level 76 for me was full of side quests. I have to admit, I got a little lost in the quest line here in Avalon and instead of playing it smart and refering to the Wiki to find my way back on track, I just started completing side quests. That's ok though. :) The side quests were entertaining and I was still earning exp for them. No worries. It's not like I wasn't having fun. lol.

Anyway . . . now that I took the two seconds to look that up, it appears I'm on the quest Over the Hills and Far Away where I need to defeat more . . . Scurvy Skirkers!!!

Wait, isn't that where I left off last blog post? Defeating Scurvy Skirkers? But that was for Cassie the Ponycorn?

DUDE! I've got some serious trouble with these tribbles!

The Star Trek gang know what I'm talking about. ;) See you at Ding 78 if I'm not overwhelmed by the Scurvy Skirkers!

Happy Dueling!

Ding 76 . . . um, hi!

So . . . like . . . hey! What have you people been doing? Um . . . me? I've been working and stuff and stuff. I've been all busy, but I think you guys get that by now. Working at KingsIsle has meant longer work days for me. Longer, more fulfilling work days, but longer days nonetheless. :)

But with all that work being done, I did manage to eek out some Wizard101 play time this morning! If I was to title today's adventures it would be "the attack on the blasted 5 Scurvy Skirkers!"

What are Scurvy Skirkers? Well besides being a part of Welsh mythology, they're these "meaner than lemons" fluff balls:

My Frankenstein will defeat them all, Cassie the Ponycorn!

You know, I had no idea what Cassie the Ponycorn was a parody of. Have you guys checked out Sissy's Magical Ponycorn Adventure? That's pure father-daughter genius right there!

All this ponycorn magic finally dinged me 76th level. hooray!

I think it may be time for me to try and finish up my Avalon adventures now. What can I say, I've been playing a lot of some *other* game. It's kind of my job now. :)

Happy dueling!

Cerise Pixie Raffle for Pet-a-Palooza 2012!

Hello all my fellow wizard-y people! This is Bailey Skystaff (aka Uber Wife) posting today.

Things have been pretty dull here on TFN lately with my Thomas joining the pirates and with me being at Nanamancers for the past month with no Internet, but when I got word that pet-a-palooza had hit the spiral I thought, what a wonderful way to make a comeback! (Anyone who knows me knows there is nothing I like more in game than my pets!)

Professor Greyrose gave us a number of codes to give away for a pet-themed contest. Since we are both so busy lately, we'd like to make this as simple, yet as fun as possible, so let's do a raffle!

First, the prize: We've got a ton of these little cuties to give away!

That's the amazing Cerise Pixie that comes with a card of Unicorn!

It's a really cool pet for some lucky winners!

Here's how you can enter: Just post a comment on this thread with the name and type of your current favorite pet you're using in game and leave us a way to contact you in case you win. This can be your email, Wizard101 Central username, or your Twitter name. (All email addresses and responses will be deleted after this contest is done.) And that's it! I'll use to choose the winners on the morning of June 8th, 2012.

Best of luck and as Thomas would say, "Happy dueling!"
