Something more awesome than god slaying in EverQuest Legends?

So that thing I wanted to do in EverQuest Legends? I did it.

No, not learn how to smile for the camera . . . look at the title above my head!!

To earn the Godslayer title, you just have to kill either Cazic Thule or Innorruuk 100 times. Done! It's a bit of grinding, but the funny thing is, I still don't have a nice +10 for all my gear even after all that griding.

I did +10 these wristwraps though!

But, being a Godslayer and all, I suppose I could just retire from EQ Legends now and be happy . . . even with the Kunark expansion coming in mid-December. I've had a lot of fun in this game, and to be honest I could happily just play this game for the next year or two and not even care to pick up another game. I might regret it though, since I have a ton of other games I want to play. (*Stares longingly at Behemoth and my VR headset collecting dust)

That's really the problem with MMOs. Sure, you find "home," but what about all those beach-side rentals you could be exploring? Take for instance, Enshrouded. Team Spode is fully immersed, but I've barely put in, what, 5 hours on the game?

Ok, it's more like 11 hours

I guess to be honest, it's more than just Everquest Legends that has been keeping me away. Real life is kind of kicking my butt. I've got a pulled muscle or two in my right arm, and it's making it incredibly difficult to sit at a computer and use a mouse. In fact, sitting in a computer chair and extending my arm out to use a mouse is like the exact wrong position to be in right before my arm starts screaming with internal pain.

I guess the other roadblock for me is that it's hockey season. The Utah Mammoth games are eating away a lot of my spare time. (Side note, it would be so cool if they were in the playoffs again.) Remember last year when I was mixing my love of the Mammoth with that pirate game? Sergy the Slapshot lives on in my mind.(Second side note, I named my character in Enshrouded "Cooley" because Logan Cooley is killing it again this year for the Mammoth)

I need something that looks a bit more Utah Mammoth'y

If I do continue to play EQ Legends, I think I'll probably work toward leveling all classes next, which is something I've mostly avoided up until this point. I've already decided that what I'm going to do is just use Beastlord as my base class while slowly leveling different random pairs with it: first to 20 in Befallen, then over to Najena or Mistmoore, then Guk, then Kedge, and then either the Plane of Hate or Nektropos Castle (I need to experiment a bit more in the new zone with sub-50 characters).

If I don't continue to play EQ Legends, I'll probably dive headfirst into Enshrouded and resurface in a couple months . . . ORRRRRR work on a couple other projects I've been sitting on. I still need to finish my Cosmic Radiation and Bad Luck album I'm working on or the Poetry Slammers game I was so close to finishing.

Glad to still be alive and kicking either way! Happy Dueling!

I'm almost done leveling my sk/ber/shaman, and I have my rogue/mage/druid from the beta on deck :-) But I have slowed down a lot on EQL. Saving myself for Kunark!
