Me = Busy stuff

I'm going to be extremely busy for the next few days, and I don't know how often I will be able to post. I will try, but life is getting interesting outside the spiral for me lately!

Feel free to use this thread to ask your questions, and talk amongst yourselves. Or I guess there always is the Yahoo answers site. How did I become a one-man Yahoo answers again? Well, I like to think my answers are more in depth and definitely more smarmy.

I've got business-y stuff to attend to.

In the meantime, check out this old advertising copy I found in one of my college books on copywriting for the "electronic media" . . . OK, why did they even have this example in my book, was this for pure entertainment value? This was over a decade old to begin with and now it's laughable ancient history. LOL

$699? YES RADIO SHACK YOU ROCK! Um, thank goodness for the cheap netbooks these days that could blow that sucker out of the water 1,000 times over (and play Wizard 101)? LOL!

Happy Dueling!

I remember those "Trash 80s"! When my husband and I first met, he ran a local BBS on one of those, with all of 64Kb memory and 4 - 5.25" floppy drives. (No that's not a typo, it didn't have enough memory for one of today's MP3 songs.)

I used to visit bbs's back then. Ahh the memories. The internet v0.1b.
A friend of mine still has a lot of his old stuff, including his super-leet rll controller (it allowed to use a 10MB hard drive to store a whopping 15 MB! Yay!).

I guess it would be possible to run a text version of w101 from one of those machines. Bring back the old text-oriented game interface :)
