The Star Wars Wizard101 Connection?

haha! So I was watching the Clone Wars Cartoon yesterday with my kids for Saturday Morning Cartoon Time, and I was shocked to hear them say that the conflict was happening on "Planet Malistaire." *jaw drop* Oh that's awesome! I made them rewind the "Planet Malistaire" part over a few times just to make sure I had heard that correctly. As it turns out, it's "Planet Malastare," not Malistaire. I found that out over on the episode guide for the latest Clone Wars. Also during the episode, they kept advertising this clone wars web game where you can build your own area. My kids were all over that! They had to go there IMMEDIATELY! So we went and came up with a game level. (Just use your arrow keys and remember to press X and Z to use your weapons.) Next, I just had to bring the Wizard101 to the game, so I made this level. OH YEAH. GO WIZARD101! :-) Happy Dueling (even if it is with a lightsaber and laser guns instead of cards)

  2. I seem to remember hearing that on there before, now that you mention it. But then I don't really "watch" Clone Wars these days as much as have it for background noise...like most everything else on TV.

  4. Hey Friendly. This is Natalie Moonblade. I know this is off-topic but my blog will be closed, I'm not quitting, I'm just taking a break.

    Thanks

  5. @Samuel: cool! I wasn't alone! haha.

    @Heather: yup, plenty of tv background noise at our house too. Saturday mornings with my kids is awesome though.

    @KBB: Nice score, man! Nice.

    @Natalie: Ok, thanks for the heads up, Natalie. Have a nice break. :-) I should probably take your example and have a long break myself.

  6. Allow me to be the first to say that said planet, Malastare, was also mentioned in Episode I. Skip to the part where Anikin first brought up podracing and listen closely to Qui-Gonn.

    I pretty sure that Malistare was mentioned in Episode I of Star Wars (just saying this so that no one wil lthink Star Wars stole it from W101).

    Well, Star Wars may not have a W101 connection, but has anybody else noticed that Ravenwood is Marion's last name in Raiders of the Lost Ark?

  10. @DeathRaven490- why so serious? It's a common misconception and it actually sort of makes sense. Let kids have fun.

    @Samuel- I thought that too, but I bet we aren't the only ones lol

    @Friendly- Wizard101 does rule, I have 5 wizards lol
